North Vancouver is one of Canada’s most beautiful communities and was just named one of “Canada’s Coolest Neighbourhoods” in Maclean’s July 2026 issue, but our city faces growing challenges.
The costs of housing, food, and other essentials continue to rise.
Traffic congestion affects our daily lives.
Climate change is bringing extreme heat and atmospheric river events that increase the risk of wildfires, smoky skies, flooding, and landslides, while also increasing insurance costs and causing health problems.
What can be done on a local, municipal level? Residents deserve a City Hall that listens carefully, communicates effectively, plans ahead, and takes bold action to deliver practical local solutions to these problems as well as all the other everyday issues that affect our day to day life.

North Vancouver is already one of Canada’s most sustainable, livable, and resilient cities. We need to ensure it stays that way.
Enhancing communication between City Council and residents means we can better connect issues with solutions and provide added efficiency. By protecting our natural environment, creating more housing choices, improving transportation, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our community, we can continue to build a city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Tammy takes the time to listen to other people’s points of view, and does her best to help if she can. She also knows how to respectfully disagree with others when necessary. Being a true leader means listening and understanding various perspectives and then making the best decisions for what one feels is best for the whole community in the long run. If you are wanting a hard working, approachable and sincere person on council, you will want to be voting for Tammy. I know I will be.

Upgrading Tammy’s home with a heat pump in 2024, we experienced some major permit delays, increasing costs for everyone. Tammy focussed on finding a resolution, communicating between city staff and governing bodies to get things resolved. Tammy would be an insightful addition to City Council in that she makes listening to the needs of small business as her big priority. She walks her talk by hiring the type of business she believes in. It would be great to have a small business and building advocate at City Hall.

In 2022, we worked with Tammy to replace her roof. It became clear that she was a community advocate, researching our company as she sought out a North Van roofing business. She considers the real domino affect of paying small local business that then put the money back into the people/services of the community. I have no doubt that she will put small business needs at the forefront of her considerations as a City Councillor.
